HDR stands for High Dynamic Range. It is a way of combining several photos of different exposures taken in quick succession (or sometimes, a single image), that brings out the highlights and shadows of the scene in a way regular images does not. It can be made to look very surreal (see some of my images) and to look like any other photograph (see more of my images here). I am fascinated by it and determined to explore the technique more. Trey Ratcliffe's work. After viewing mine, of course. Trey is one of the originators of this relatively new style.
